About this deal

I would say that the Oral-B Pro 2500 has a visible pressure sensor whereas the Oral-B Pro 1000 does not, so I would lean towards to the Oral-B Pro 2500.

It isn’t like the quieter audible humming sound of sonic brushes that fall into the 60 decibel range. When the battery indicator light eventually flashes red, the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 is completely out of battery. You just need to pop your phone in it, which takes a couple of seconds compared to the tens of seconds with the Genius brush configuration. The Oral-B Pro 2000 is a pale blue (can also come in a vibrant pink), the Oral-B Pro 2500 is black (can also come in vibrant pink) and the Oral-B 3000 which is a dark blue.

The pressure sensor benefits new and even experienced electric toothbrush users, but admittedly new users get the greatest benefit.

I started using oral b vitality last year as my friend recommended using an electric toothbrush instead of manual ones. This mechanism of action cleans better than the sonic motion featured on most Philips toothbrushes and cleans significantly better than manual toothbrushes. What I add on to this is, it is easier to clean properly with an electric toothbrush that oscillates 8,800 per minute and pulsates 40,000 per minute. The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Electric Toothbrush comes with the new upgraded lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

On the subject of cleaning modes, the Genius 9000 has an extra brushing mode known as ‘Tongue Cleaning’ mode.

These figures were correct at the time of writing and should not be relied upon as hard fact, but used as a guide during your decision process. As the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 is a cheaper electric toothbrush, you would expect it to come with fewer features. com/toiletries/dental/electrical-toothbrush/oral-b-pro-2000-cross-action-electric-toothbrush/p/981957" on this server. If money isn’t an issue, and you really want the best of the best check out our other recommendations here. Oral-B’s oscillating-rotating brush heads are smaller than the sonic style from the likes of Sonicare.

As I have pointed out though with so little between them and the Pro 2 2000 sometimes, much will depend on your preference, time and location of purchase. Lasting up to 16 days or 66 minutes in our testing, that is an extra 4 days or 16 minutes of usage time.Unfortunately, I think Oral-B and other manufacturers make it a little more complicated than it needs to be with all the different names/numbers and options. It helps those with sore or inflamed gums, but reducing the number of movements in the brush head, making for a more comfortable brushing experience, until the sensitivity has gone or reduced. The Oral-B Pro 3000 trumps the others by being able to adjust the pulsations and oscillations with a sensitive cleaning mode. Both models offer most of the benefits of an electric toothbrush without having to pay ‘too’ much for them.
