Many thanks for your help. The box does say the button changes the height from 20 to 8omm in 7 easy steps. Upon investigation I found that above the no 3 setting there is a further one marked Min. I had to press down very hard on the mower (without breaking it) I can now see Min more clearly although it still hasn’t fully come into the display area as the top of the 3 is still visible. However I think that the mower is now set for 20mm. I will try it out once the grass next needs mowing The battery and the charger can be stored in the garage or shed, as this will protect them from extreme temperatures.
