The two form a very close bond over the course of Project Rainbow, with Skyler giving Shanelle support when she needs it and Shanelle showing huge interest in Skyler’s work. The two become close friends in the end, with Shanelle stating how proud she is of Skyler for winning Project Rainbow and them hugging and complimenting each other.

Skyler is characterized by her shy, kind personality. She prefers to not talk that much and easily gets scared by almost anything that happens. She is super imaginative and can use classic designs to make something a big hit. She takes the designs and twists it her own way to make it look awesome. However, she doesn't usually brag or boast about her work - she lets it do the talking.Skyler initially admired Avery, mainly for her popularity, but never is shown to interact with her at first. However, she forms a friendship with Avery, with Avery talking about her and the other A’s origins and Skyler even offering to be their new A, which she seems to like. The two become so caught up in talking, that they fail to notice they left the fabric in the dye bath for too long, with Skyler blaming herself and Avery standing up for her. They remain close after this, bonding over their love for fashion.
