About this deal

The simple, colourful characters were an instant hit, made all the more popular thanks to the iconic 1970s TV series narrated by Arthur Lowe from Dad’s Army. In 1981, the Little Miss characters joined the Mr. Men family, including the much-loved Little Miss Bossy, Little Miss Naughty and Little Miss Sunshine. Little Miss Penny is one of the children of Mr. Thrifty and Mrs. Thrifty who is in the Mr. Spendy book. Dub Name Change: Called "Mr. Nervous" in the US translation, since what's known as "jelly" in Britain is referred to as the trademarked "jello" in America. This translation was used in both the British and American versions of The Mr. Men Show, though. Mr Men & Little Miss Everyday shows the characters getting together to do everyday activities like going to the park or the doctor. The stories are set in a fictional universe called "Misterland", which is inhabited by the Mr. Men and Little Misses themselves, as well as some ordinary human characters such as shopkeepers, doctors and postmen. There are also various animals; Walter the Worm is the main animal who appears frequently. [12] The characters are human in their behaviours and attributes.

After his father's death, Adam Hargreaves took over the Mr. Men. He now draws the characters and writes new stories for them, he wrote Mr. Cool, Mr. Rude, Mr. Good, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Bad, Little Miss Whoops, Little Miss Princess, Little Miss Hug, Mr. Adventure, Mr. Marvelous, Little Miss Fabulous, Little Miss Sparkle, Little Miss Inventor, Mr. Calm, and Little Miss Brave. Out of Focus: If the story in question isn't about Christmas, don't expect him to show up. And even then, you've still got a slim chance. He also helps Little Miss Tiny realize that there is nothing wrong with being tiny in Mr. Men, Little Miss: All Different.Mr Forgetful can't remember anything. Anything at all! Ever! But what will happen when he's given an important message to deliver? Can he remember?

Vague Age: In his book, Little Miss Splendid calls him "young man." This implies that he may be one of the younger Mr. Men, but it is not known how old he may be. Mr Skinny was extraordinarily thin. What made it even worse, was that he lived in a place called Fatland. Mr Skinny feels so different from everything and everybody in Fatland, and all poor Mr Skinny wants is a belly. Mr. Quiet lives in Loudland, where everybody and everything is too loud for him. Loudland would be suitable for Mr. Noisy, but not for Mr. Quiet. Mr. Quiet is scared. Whenever he tries to go shopping, he can only whisper what he wants, which results in the grocer, the milkman, the baker, and the butcher shouting "CAN'T HEAR YOU! NEXT PLEASE!" One day, Mr. Quiet gets a letter from Mr. Happy to stay in Happyland, where Mr. Quiet gets a job in a library, where the rule is to always be quiet. Mr. Quiet is so happy he laughs out loud. Beware the Nice Ones: Mr. Happy's a kind person for the most part and willing to help cheer people up but he's far from incapable of getting angry or comitting acts of mischief.

Mr. FunnyMr Funny is the funniest person in the whole of Happyland, quite the funniest you have ever seen. Mr. Uppity is the 11th book in the Mr. Men series by Roger Hargreaves. Mr. Uppity lives in Bigtown and he is very rich. He is rude to everybody (who call him Miserable old Uppity) until one day he meets a goblin. When he is rude to the goblin, the goblin shrinks Mr. Uppity so he can fit into a hole in a tree, and they enter the tree to meet the King of the Goblins. The goblin agrees to shrink Mr. Uppity if he is rude to somebody. This happens until Mr. Uppity is nice. In the end, he's still rich, but now he's very popular. He most frequently uses the words, "Please" and "Thank you." At the end of the book, Hargreaves tells the readers: "Thank you for reading this story, and if you're ever thinking about being rude to somebody, please keep a sharp lookout for goblins."
