Casting Kits Browse our range of DIY casting kits and create your own memories in the comfort of your own home.An upgrade to a larger and deeper frame will probably be needed for the babies over 6 months old, due to their larger hands and feet. You can choose to have sculptures, wall art and perfect miniaturised jewellery from just one casting. To purchase a casting session, including frame, for someone as a gift please see here – Baby Foot and Hand Casting Frame Gift Voucher.

after an hour or so the plaster has set, gently break away the alginate mould from the 3D plaster cast to reveal a true work of art! Gina was amazing, patient and kind with my 4-month-old when we had his casts done, (2 full sets and 1 half set) the results were just beautiful. very easy to use, came quickly, the main issue we had was that we have a very wriggly baby so I would recommend getting this as soon as possible so that your baby is easier to manage (we changed the water temperature to 35 which made it much easier as it set within seconds and therefore didn't give him time to move his foot away, so this is another option if your baby is older like mine and doesn't want to sit still) it is a great product either way though!

Depending on your chosen method for baby hand and feet casting, you'll need specific hand-casting materials.

A little gutted but even asleep the feet are their most sensitive part of the body so any touch on them they wiggle so it was very difficult to do them. If you’d like to maintain 2m social distance then the first option requires 2 adults, one to hold the baby while the other takes the moulds. All frames are made from a single piece of soft wood, which has been professionally stained and lacquered. Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. My 5 month old wriggled more than I expected, it took 1 to hold her, 1 to hold her foot in place, and another to distract her.
