It is a fruity floral, surprisingly not shampooish, but a gourmand-non-gourmand,so if you don't like gourmands but are willing to wait for the drydown, sure, go for First. Unfortunately this fragrance has a really poor projection, and it's rare that someone smells me at all. Too many sprays concentrated in one area and doing it in humid 30+ degree weather is maybe where you could go wrong with this scent. I just bought this, mostly because I'm hunting for my signature scent and it would be very practical if it turned out to be a cheaper fragrance. I'll have to find out if it ends up cloying in the hottest Summer days, but even if it is there's plenty of appropriate scenarios for a scent like this. I couldn't detect this frag after 3 hours even with the 6 - 7 sprays unless I have my nose buried into my skin trying to detect it with all my might.
