It's very sweet and has this powderiness to it which I like, but I have to agree with another review. I love the flavor of black licorice, so I was expecting to love this, but the licorice plus the cherry and other notes actually smelled like some sort of grape flavored gum or candy from my childhood that I couldn't place, and was unpleasant.

If I had to pick anything, I'd say this is along the lines of Diesel Loverdose and/or Good Fortune (the 2 of them, DL and GF, smell exactly the same to me). I never smelled the OG late 90s formulation, so I cannot compare it to this, but what I have stands on its own as a classic. It is a little similar to Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire, but the latter is more cherry-forward, less interesting and less refined than Lolita. I resprayed around 3:30, before my husband and I left for an outdoor music festival ( in low 90 temps) and I still smell it on my skin today at noon and it’s definitely still going strong on the shirt I wore last night!
